We have a legal obligation to follow the mission in our Public Benefit Corporation Charter. We are working on spreading the rewards of capitalism more fairly - by funding more deserving founders, backed by their friends and community who believe in what they are doing.
We believe there are tens of thousands of potential founders with unrealized raw potential. They deserve the opportunity to take their shot. We match their dreams with those who can inspire and help them - not just with their funding, but with their mentorship and support.

We're a small, tight-knit team
We're a team of founder-types, striving to build a great culture where we feel at home. For instance, one of our cultural values is to be insatiably curious - not only with work, but in areas as diverse as kickboxing, neuroscience, or chess. Check out our favorite books!
We also do things that normal startups don't. Three times, the entire company has taken the Amtrak coast to coast, stopping in 12 cities over 10 days, meeting our users face-to-face.
